Tomorrow, Thursday, May 30th, our annual Soirée en Blanc will be located at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral at 7220 Granby St., Norfolk, VA 23505 from 5:30 to 8 p.m.! Also, there is *no rain in the forecast so it will be a perfect day for this gathering.
This Evening in White is a traditional outdoor event in which everyone wears white, and the décor is white also. Guests will enjoy the outdoor ambience while being serenaded by special music; while eating and drinking their own food, drinks or wine, or pre-purchased boxed dinners with water bottles. (Note: the deadline to purchase meals has passed, although we will have 4 extras onsite to purchase on a “first come-first serve” basis).
For those bringing their own meal for everyone at their table, you may arrive as early as 5 p.m. to set up!
The entrance to the event is the driveway in front of the church along Granby Street (look for our entrance sign). You may stop in the driveway to register, drop off passengers who need a shorter walk, then proceed to park in the back of the church. (If you are setting up a table, then you may park in a location closest to your table.) When you register, we will give you your table assignments and any pre-purchased meals.
The Toulon committee has assembled lovely gift baskets to raffle! You won’t want to miss this opportunity. Raffle ticket prices are $1 for one ticket, or $5 for six tickets. Cash is preferred, but credit card may be used for purchases of $5 or more.
It’s not too late to purchase a ticket to this event as on-site Tickets will be available for purchase. Member tickets are $35 per person; Nonmember tickets are $45 per person. Cash and credit cards will be accepted!
All funds raised will help to offset the expenses of this event, as well as help raise scholarship funds for our French exchange program.
(*Please note that this event does not have a rain date, nor are we able to issue refunds. Those who have purchased meals would come to the venue to collect them.)
