Norfolk Sister City Association’s Cagayan de Oro Committee hosts its annual Philippine Independence Day Celebration on Sunday, June 8, 2025, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Independence Day commemorates the declaration of Philippine independence from Spain in 1898. Please join us for brunch, dance, and a Philippine themed costume contest! Cost is $20 per person. Attire is Filipino theme.
Location: Gather Norfolk, 500 East Main Street, 16th Floor, Norfolk, VA 23510. Parking available on the street, Plume Lane Garage’s visitor spots (no back-in parking), and MacArthur Mall’s South Parking Garage.
