Norfolk Sister City Association’s Toulon, France Committee is pleased to announce that its annual Soirée en Blanc will be held on Thursday, May 29th*, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. This Evening in White is a beloved French traditional outdoor event in which everyone wears white, and the décor is white also. Guests will enjoy the ambience of beautiful music en plein air, good conversation, and their own food, drinks, and wine, or pre-purchased boxed dinners. For those bringing their own meal, you may arrive at 5 p.m. to set up. To add to the excitement, the location in Norfolk is kept a surprise until it is announced 24 hours prior! *Please note that this event does not have a rain date, nor are we able to issue refunds. Those who have purchased meals would come to the venue to collect them.

Ticket Information Member tickets are $35 per person; Nonmember tickets are $45 per person. Guests have the option to purchase a single ticket or a group of tickets for either an 8-seat table or a 10-seat table. The deadline to purchase tickets is Friday, May 23, at noon.

Boxed Dinners Our boxed dinners are being provided by Baker’s Crust. Disposable plates, cutlery and napkins are included in each box. Bottled water is available. The deadline to purchase boxed dinners is Friday, May 23, at noon.

  • Option 1- $26: Starter: Caprese bruschetta; Main: Chicken and veggie- grilled marinated chicken, creamy balsamic vinaigrette, spinach, whipped feta, mushroom, asparagus, yellow bell peppers, onions.; Dessert: Brownie
  • Option 2- $ 29: Starter: Caprese bruschetta; Main: Slow cooked pork tenderloin, mashed potatoes, topped with mushroom gravy; Dessert: Brownie
  • Option 3- $31: Starter: Caprese bruschetta; Main: Shrimp pasta- Alfredo, grilled shrimp, asparagus, tagliatelle; Dessert: Lemon crumb bar
