Celebrate Norfolk Sister City Association’s 50th anniversary on Sunday, November 8 ,12:30 to 2:30 p.m., at the Slover Library, 235 E Plume St. in downtown Norfolk. We will be meeting in their speakeasy‑inspired space, 235 Commons. International attire is welcome! Registration begins at 12:00 p.m.! Parking is available at the Main Street garage located directly behind the Slover; the garage entrance is on Atlantic St., and the first two hours are free. Please note that metered on-street parking is limited.

We will present our annual awards and celebrate our accomplishments. Our keynote address will feature our visiting diplomats from the ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) Institute speaking about maritime industry innovations and challenges in their countries. Our luncheon will feature a variety of delicious entrees, and scrumptious sides and desserts. A cash bar will be available.

Tickets for this event and buffet meal are $65 for Norfolk Sister Cities members and $75 for non-members; Or members may purchase 8-seat tables for $470 each and non-members for $540 each.

We will have a Silent Auction of donated merchandise and/or gift certificates. All proceeds from the auction support our Young Global Citizens programs for Norfolk Public Schools students in grades 3-8 and scholarships for our summer high school student exchange programs.
