Norfolk Sister Cities is pleased announce 14 youth from the Norfolk Area will be delegates to Wilhelmshaven, Germany for three weeks. The group will be accompanies by Paige Snell, Wilhelmshaven Committee Chair and German Teacher at Maury HS. The students will live with host families during their stay, expereincing the daily life and culture of a German teen.
Five students will visit Norfolk, VA from Toulon France during the month of July. These students were selected through an English competition through NSCA Toulon Counterparts: France Estas-Unis. Students will live with host families from the Norfolk area during their stay experiencing the daily life and culture of a US teen.
Students from Norfolk’s Sister City Kitakyushu, Japan will visit the Norfolk area in August. A Reception for International Peace and Understanding will be held August 7th, open to NSCA memebership. Please check back for more information as it is confirmed.
