All NSCA members are invited to join the Kochi, India Committee at its 2013 membership event to celebrate the arrival of the annual monsoon in Kerala!
The program will feature a presentation by Dr. Christine Drake, Professor Emerita of Geography, Old Dominion University, on the sources of the monsoon and its implications for the life and culture of Kerala. Afterwards, we will show a colorful video, “The Monsoons of Kerala,” depicting the effects of this weather phenomenon on nature and life in Kochi’s home state.
